It's a very pretty lantern. The color in the pic shown is the pic on the side of the box. When it is glowing, it's just blue. There is no hint of pink or purple like is shown in the picture. I assumed from the pic that the glass was colored and the light was white LED. But it's not. The light is blue and the glass is clear. But it's a pretty color of blue. Different from what I have seen out there as far as solar lights go.
On a sunny day, it will glow all night. If the day is overcast, it will only glow for a few hours at night.
Overall, I really do like the light.

This arrived as a gift - I had to reattach the prism. The legs are not even so it is lopsided. The top doesn't attach firmly. The on off button doesn't appear to work. I'll see tonight after it has been in the sun all day. Supposed to come in gift box - but only came in a beat up brown shipping box. Too bad, it could be nice but isn't.
